What we collect when you use Ricordo, where it goes, and how to ask us to delete it, in plain language.
Last updated September 17, 2026Ricordo has an invite-only beta. This page explains what we collect on this website and in the beta, who receives it, why we use it, and how to ask us to delete it. We name the service providers involved below.
heyricordo.com uses Google Analytics to understand website traffic. It also uses Meta Pixel to measure visits from Meta. These services receive standard information about a visit, such as browser, device and page information, and process it under their own privacy policies. The site's fonts are stored and served with the rest of the site.
When you claim a place in the invite-only beta, we send your email address to Klaviyo, the service we use to manage the beta list. The form may also ask for an optional note about why Ricordo interests you and an optional choice to hear more from us. The note and contact choice are stored with your Klaviyo profile. Please keep the optional note general and do not include sensitive personal information.
Your email lets us manage your beta request and invite you when the beta opens. If you select “I'd like to hear more. Contact me.”, we may also use the email and optional note to send you Ricordo updates. If you leave it unchecked, your email remains part of your beta request.
We keep beta-list information while the invite-only beta is running. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing john@heyricordo.com from the email address you used to join.
Once you're in the beta and using the app itself, these services help provide it:

The beta does not ask your browser for your geolocation. Location comes from what you type or save. We will update this list as the beta changes.
We do not sell personal information. A place cannot pay to appear in a Ricordo recommendation. A commission, an ad or a paid placement does not change what surfaces or its order. Meta Pixel measures visits from Meta. It has no role in recommendations.
Access is invitation-only, and the product is still being built. Beta data may be reset or deleted as we test and rebuild parts of the product. We will try to give notice before a major change, but do not treat what you save in Ricordo as permanent storage during the beta.
You can ask what information we have about you, correct it, or ask us to delete your beta-list request or account data. Email john@heyricordo.com with the email address you used and the request you want us to handle.
